Yet the grades are barely moving.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A 5 remains a 5. A 6 still feels just out of reach.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The natural response is often: <\/span><b>\u201cThey need to study more.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But when a student is already putting in the hours, more studying may not be the answer. But if the real weakness is question interpretation, analytical writing or application, more revision of existing knowledge will not address it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The better question is:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>\u201cWhat is stopping this student from reaching the next grade?\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That answer should determine what they practise.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>2. Patterns across multiple answers often reveal weaknesses that a single percentage cannot.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>4.
