The future of education is not about predicting the next job. It is about preparing students to keep learning.<\/h3>\n

Ask a student, \u201cWhat do you want to be when you grow up?\u201d<\/strong> and you will probably hear familiar answers: doctor, engineer, lawyer, teacher, designer.<\/p>\n

But the world of work is changing faster than career lists can keep up.<\/p>\n

A future scientist will need more than scientific knowledge.<\/p>\n

And a future professional working with AI will need more than the ability to operate an AI tool.<\/p>\n

They will need to know when to trust it, when to question it and when to think beyond it.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Why strong academic foundations still matter<\/h2>\n

Preparing students for the future does not mean abandoning traditional academic subjects in favour of constantly chasing the latest technology.<\/p>\n

In fact, strong academic foundations may become even more important.<\/p>\n

Reading develops interpretation.<\/p>\n

Mathematics develops logical reasoning.<\/p>\n

Science develops evidence-based thinking.<\/p>\n

History develops an understanding of perspective and context.<\/p>\n

Literature encourages students to examine ambiguity, language and different ways of seeing the world.<\/p>\n

These abilities are transferable. The technology may change, but the need to think well<\/strong> does not.<\/p>\n
