    FAQs

Can my child get counseling support without tutoring?

Yes, our wellbeing services are available as standalone sessions. However, many families choose to combine counselling with academic coaching for a holistic support system.

How do I know if my child needs support?

Common signs include lack of motivation, anxiety around exams, self-doubt, trouble focusing, or emotional outbursts. If you’ve noticed changes in behaviour or attitude, a wellbeing check-in can be a good first step.

How many sessions does my child need?

This varies by student. Some benefit from a one-time mindset reset, while others may prefer regular sessions.

    Is my information kept confidential?

Yes, absolutely. All conversations with our wellbeing team or counsellors are treated with the strictest confidentiality. We do not share personal information with parents, tutors, or others without your explicit consent, unless there is a concern about your safety or someone else’s.

    Is this therapy or coaching?

It’s a blend of mentorship and coaching with emotional support at its core. While it’s not clinical therapy, we offer tools rooted in psychology (like CBT techniques) and refer to professionals when deeper mental health care is needed.

Who are the people providing support – are they qualified?

Our wellbeing services are delivered by accredited and professionally trained counsellors who have experience working with young people. They follow ethical guidelines and best practices to ensure you receive safe, non-judgmental, and supportive care.
