The new academic term is the perfect time to strengthen your command over set texts, and we’re excited to introduce our focused IGCSE Literature workshop on The Cherry Orchard. This intensive program is designed to help students develop both technical precision and analytical depth while preparing for the demands of the CIE World Literature (0408) examination.

With a strong emphasis on dual mastery, students will receive structured training for both Extract-Based and General Essay question formats. Our sessions go beyond surface-level understanding, guiding learners through detailed analysis of themes, characterization, dramatic techniques, symbolism, and contextual significance in The Cherry Orchard. We focus not only on what to write, but also on how to write it effectively under timed exam conditions.

The workshop is strategically divided into two key sessions:

• Extract Session: Thursday, 19th March | 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

• General Essay Session: Monday, 23rd March | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Each session is carefully curated to help students master essay planning, structuring high-scoring responses, and writing with clarity and confidence. Through guided practice, model responses, and examiner-focused strategies, students will learn how to engage critically with the play and present well-developed, textually supported arguments.
